As soon as most people find out that they are going to have a baby, they want to find out what gender the baby will be. They want to know if they are having a boy or a girl. Some people would even like to try any method that might help them to have a child of a particular gender. One resource that can be helpful in situations like this, when it is too early for an ultrasound to determine the gender of the baby, is to use a Chinese pregnancy calendar.

A Chinese pregnancy calendar has the lunar months written across the top of the chart, and the age of the mother written down the side of the chart. By using this sort of calendar you can get a prediction of what sex a baby will be if it is conceived by a mother of a certain age in a certain lunar month.

Using a Chinese pregnancy calendar, however, is not as simple as it might look at first glance. The Chinese calculate age differently than we do, so you need to add one year to the age of the mother to get the Chinese age. Since the lunar calendar is also different from the calendar that we use, the month of conception also needs to be changed into the lunar month. Once that has been done it is a very simple matter to plug these numbers into the chart. The square that corresponds to the Chinese age and lunar month of conception will show either a B for boy or a G for girl.

This method of prediction has is actually right a good percentage of the time, but it is not always 100 percent correct. Just like most other methods of predicting the sex of a baby, there is room for error. However, this type of calendar can give you an idea of what you might be having earlier than you could find out from the doctor. You could also use it to try to figure out the best time to get pregnant in order to have a baby of the gender you would prefer. Of course there are no guarantees, but it is worth a try.

Feng Shui, Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine, and Tai Chi all come from the wisdoms of ancient Chinese. These techniques or knowledge were once considered as superstitious in the western world, but are now widely used in many civilized countries. The Chinese Gender Chart (aka Chinese Birth Calendar or Chinese Pregnancy Calendar) which is used to predict the gender of a baby, does not yet receive the respect from western eyes like other Chinese ancient wisdoms!

The amazing thing about the Chinese Gender Chart is that it can predict the gender of babies long before a mother’s conception and that its accuracy rate is higher than 90%. The prediction is only based on two factors: the mother’s age of conception and the month of conception (see http://www.chinesegenderchart.info/pregnancy-chart-gender-selection/howitwork.html.) So, if a baby is conceived in June when the woman is 30, she will give birth to a girl. And if a baby is conceived in August when the woman is 22, she will give birth to a boy. The most unusual thing associated with the Chinese Gender Chart is that it is the women who determine the sex of the children; this differs from all medical books that tell you that it is the presence or absence of the Y chromosome from men that determine the sex of the children. Recent medical studies have found that it is the woman’s ovum membrane that chooses whether to fertilize with the X or Y sperm from men. So it is more appropriate to say that it is the female that chooses the sex of the baby (by virtue of selecting which sperm to mate with) and the male only determines the sex of the baby after conception. And this is exactly what the ancient Chinese pointed out.

There are many advantages to using the Chinese Gender Chart: It is 100% free, 100% natural, and it is absolutely safe. But a lot of people who have tested the Chinese Gender Chart conclude that the accuracy of the chart is no better than flipping a coin. What they don’t know is that, to use the Chart, one must follow several rules:

1. The Chinese Gender Chart is based on the lunar calendar.

2. A newborn baby is already one-year old.

3. You don’t choose the first and last ten days of a gender period for conception.

4. You don’t choose to conceive in Chinese leap months.

There is nothing wrong in preferring a baby boy after having two or three girls. You may also consider choosing a specific gender if your family has certain sex-related illnesses. Although there is still no scientific proof of why the chart works, choosing a specific sex by using the Chinese Gender Chart is still the best alternative to more expensive gender selection methods like MicroSort and PGD.

With a one-child policy in effect for two generations, the Chinese have it tough when it comes to raising a family. Gender selection at conception and pregnancy stages has always been an important consideration to the Chinese family as it is only the Son, and not the Daughter, that will eventually carries the family name.

When it comes to selecting a child’s gender at birth, the Ancient Chinese provides a detailed and pretty impressive Pregnancy Gender Selection Chart (or Chinese Gender Conception Calendar), which gives a systematic prediction on the gender of a baby based on two factors; (a) the age of conception of the mother, as well as (b) the month of conception.

This Pregnancy Gender Selection Chart is not to be confused with the better known Four Pillars Birth Chart (or Bazi) in the field of Feng Shui. The Four Pillars Reading is used for predicting the fortunes of a person based on his birth information, where else the Pregnancy Gender Selection Chart is meant for pre-determining the gender of a child at the conception and pregnancy stages.

This rather well-known Chart was discovered in the Ming’s Tomb and is apparently kept by the Imperial Family. However, there are in effect numerous similar gender selection guides circulating among the Chinese population, especially in the field of Traditional Chinese Medicine. This Chart produced here is meant purely for leisure read.

There is no scientific basis on its prediction, although older generations of Chinese have proclaimed it to be highly accurate. Some feel that after all, with the largest population in the world, the Chinese got to know a thing or two about childbirths. In effect, with only 2 gender selections in the word (i.e. either boy or girl), no prediction mechanisms, either ancient or modern, will do far wrong if they do not deviate too far from the 50% benchmark.

Although this method of gender selection is safe and natural, it is not meant to be a serious alternative to modern medical science. In modern society as we know of, there are indeed couples who do have problems producing either boys or girls, and the problem can be attributed to both the Father and Mother, and not solely to the Mother in the case of the traditional Chinese Pregnancy Gender Selection Chart. These can be affected by many modern factors not found in Ancient China, including radio waves activities exposed to from modern equipments.

The Chinese pregnancy calendar is best known as the Chinese conception chart and it is used to predict the baby gender. Many women would like to know right from the beginning whether they have a baby-girl or a baby-boy. It is said that the Chinese pregnancy calendar was buried in a tomb one thousand years ago, and it is now exhibited at the Beijing Institute of Science. What does this Chinese pregnancy calendar look like?

There are just two main elements that are taken into consideration to determine baby gender in the Chinese pregnancy calendar. They are mother age on a column and the month of conception in a row. The rest of the calendar consists of blue and pink squares. Though simple, it has been successfully used in ancient China for thousands of years. All the more appreciation for the ancient Chinese.

Those that have seen the Chinese pregnancy calendar have declared that it is very easy to use. When you find the pregnancy line equal to your age, you follow it to reach to the month when you conceived. A square pink indicates you will have a girl and a blue square a boy. Of course it is a bit of fun, but there are people that confessed their prediction being right in their case and in that of their friends.

If you try the Chinese pregnancy calendar, it is better to calculate your age according to the lunar calendar, a lunar month is twenty-nine days long. The basis for the Chinese pregnancy calendar is the lunar calendar, the one the ancient Chinese used a lot. There have been attempts to transform the Chinese pregnancy calendar / chart into a Chinese astrology calendar.

The regular Chinese pregnancy calendar has been changed to reflect also the combination of the five elements air, fire, water, earth and wood in its role in determining the gender of the unborn baby. Other factors analyzed by this modified Chinese pregnancy calendar, are the astrological sign, the five major elements relationship as well as animal relationship – the Chinese astrological signs correspond to animals.

Regardless of whether you use the Chinese pregnancy calendar for fun or for sheer curiosity, I should tell you that it has only fifty percent chances of accuracy. Don’t repaint the baby room just because of a prediction with the Chinese pregnancy calendar. It is better to wait till the baby has grown enough to be able to find out its gender at the doctor.

Many pregnant women are interested in the Chinese Pregnancy Calendar. They use it to determine the gender of their baby. Did you know where and when the Chinese Pregnancy Calendar came out? Is it really accurate?

Though most of us use the chart just for fun, it is still a great discovery of the ancient Chinese people. Here is the answer for the question above.

The ancient Chinese people are so clever that they had many interesting discoveries, and the Chinese pregnancy calendar is one of them.

This chart was buried in a royal tomb approximately 750 years ago, and now it is known as “Baby Gender Chart” or “Chinese Birth Charts”. The original chart can still be seen now at the Beijing Institute of Science in China.

The Chinese Pregnancy Calendar was thought to have been created to give parents to choose their baby’s gender. According to the mother’s age, if they conceive their baby at a certain time of year, they can choose a boy or girl then.

The ancient Chinese people discovered this chart because the sex of the baby was the most important thing for many parents, and it is still an issue to many Chinese people today in many places!

Of course, now we can use this Chinese pregnancy Calendar chart just for fun! The sex of our baby can be known through the more accurate ways such as 3d scan, or ultra-sound scans!

However, the Chinese Pregnancy Calendar has a quite higher score - some people say that it is more than 50% correct!

How clever the ancient Chinese people is!

How accurate is the Chinese pregnancy calendar? This calendar is also known as the Chinese conception chart and predicts whether you will have a boy or girl based on your age and the month in which you became pregnant. Supposedly, this chart was buried in a royal tomb thousands of years ago and was uncovered in an archaeological excavation. The actual chart is on display at the Institute of Science.

Â

Many people swear by this calendar and it has proven to be accurate in about 99% of the cases in which it was used. The calendar is divided into thirteen columns ?one for the age of the mother and the twelve months of the year. Find your age when you became pregnant and slide your finger along the line until you come to the month in which you became pregnant. The letter M for male in that month means you will have a boy and the letter F means you will have a girl. For example, if you are 23 years old and you conceived in March, according to this calendar, you will have a boy.

Â

If you are trying to conceive and there is a specific gender you want to have, then you can consult with this calendar to increase the likelihood of having the gender you want. An eighteen year old will likely have a boy if she conceives during any of the months from April to December. According to this chart an 18-year old woman will only have a girl if she conceives during January or March. A 21-year old, on the other hand, has a greater chance of having a girl because the only month of conception for a boy is January. While most of the ages have a pretty even chance of the baby being a boy or girl, a 30-year old will likely have a boy unless she gets pregnant during March or June.

Â

There are many tales about how to predict the gender of an unborn baby. Some people try swinging a needle suspended by a thread over the hand of the pregnant woman. If it swings from side to side, this is said to mean the baby will be a girl. If it swings north to south, this means that baby will be a boy. Some say that if you carry the baby low it will be a girl and if you carry it high it will be a boy. None of these methods of determining the gender are accurate. However, like the Chinese calendar for pregnancy, it does prove that people have been trying to guess the gender of the baby for centuries. The Chinese are perhaps the only ones who have found a system that works.

Â

Have fun with using the chart to see if it will be right for you. You shouldn put your faith in it so completely that you decorate the nursery for a specific gender because then you could be in for a disappointment when the baby is born. Ultrasounds late in the pregnancy can tell you definitely whether the baby is a boy or a girl because you can see the genitals.

Different sorts of emotions and thoughts will run through your mind when you realize that you are pregnant. The emotions can be the elation of having your own child as well as nervousness and being afraid. You won’t know how your body will react to the pregnancy and how healthy the baby will turn out. Questions of when and how often you will see a doctor will dawn on you too. For that and more, you can refer to a pregnancy calendar.

You can look out for pregnancy calendars online as there are plenty of websites that provide such calendars. The choices of pregnancy calendars are developmental calendars as well as Chinese pregnancy calendars.

Chinese pregnancy calendar asserts that they are able to predict the personality traits of your baby but is it dependable? It goes as far as asserting that it can divine all kinds of things about your baby. You just key in your baby’s due date and lo and behold you will be capable of predicting your baby’s gender, personality and many more. The basics are on the Chinese zodiac signs where mothers relied on to how their baby will grow up to be. If you are going to look into a Chinese pregnancy calendar, then just have some fun as the only things that they undertake to predict is just nature and probability. Those that take it seriously will only end up disenchanted as no calendar is able to foresee all those things.

Besides the Chinese pregnancy calendar and developmental calendars, you can find such calendar as doctor appointment calendar too. Chinese calendar works much like fortune telling and Tarot card reading websites but they claim that it is very accurate. Is such calendar that works on the basis of programming code capable of predicting the sex and personality of a baby when the scientific based medical profession can’t do so? So can you trust such calendar? If not why then are there so many such calendars out online? Since there is ongoing presence, then perhaps there could be some legitimacy to them.

The basis for such assertions is that there are generations of Chinese who based their personality and sex of their unborn baby on such zodiac and other elements, even naming their baby from these calendars. Hey it worked for some so it is perfectly alright to give it a try and see if it applies to you. But then don’t rely too much on it to the extent that you get everything ready based on the Chinese pregnancy calendar. For that you might be disenchanted as at best it is just to entertain you.

However, these claims are incorrect. Many people have used it and amused to see that the results were inaccurate or accurate for one child and not for the other. With the probability of being right at 50 per cent of the time, there is a half-and-half chance of getting the right answer.

The procedure is simple. All you need to know is the mother’s age when she conceived and the month in which the baby was conceived. Then run your finger across the chart at where these two points coincide and you have your prediction from the Chinese pregnancy calendar. But like all predictions, they need not come true.

Take the Chinese pregnancy calendar with a grain of salt and just look at it for the sake of enjoyment. By no means should you start painting the nursery walls or finalizing names based on this calendar as many people have opposite results.

Even Ultrasound Technicians Make Mistakes

When a technologically advanced system like the ultrasound can make mistakes of determining the sex of the child, an ancient chart should not be advertised with unrealistic claims. Some people may take it too far by trying extra hard for a baby in a particular month if they desperately want a girl or a boy.

For example, according to the Chinese pregnancy calendar at one online site, if you are 21, apart from January, there is no other time of the year that you can have a boy. This is highly unlikely as even though there are more women than men in this world, such an 11 out of 12 probability for a girl is fictitious by all accounts.

Another tell-tale sign that the Chinese pregnancy calendar is not based on facts is that different websites have different charts! If you’re 25 and conceived in March, website A will predict you’re having a boy whereas website B will put its bets on a girl!

Medical science has proven that the sex of the child is determined by the sperm of the father and no chart or Chinese pregnancy calendar can alter that. So whether it’s Joseph or Josephine who is about to join your family, do away with fictitious calendars and prepare to welcome her or him with open arms. Enjoy!
