Itâ??s important to not let the sign of pregnancy or early sign of pregnancy bog you down. Keep yourself mentally and physically fit to bear up with all the changes. And a weekly pregnancy calendar can help reduce your anxiety a lot.

The moment you notice the first sign of pregnancy like nausea, breast tenderness or the like, you rush to get a medical test done. And when pregnancy is confirmed, you feel unmatched joy. However, in truth, joy is not the only feeling you experience. You are most likely to feel a wide range of emotions â?? elation, apprehension, anxiety and so on. As a matter of fact, some women may find coping with early signs of pregnancy or the early bodily changes difficult. Here are a few tips on keeping yourself in good temper and mood.

Share Your Joys And Anxieties

Donâ??t confine yourself after noticing the signs of pregnancy. Rather, even if you are an introvert, try to discuss them with your partner, family members, and friends. Even when your pregnancy is confirmed, share your joy with all the people who are close to you. Speak about the coming days to them and discuss the likely changes and precautions to be taken. This will definitely ease your mind.

Try Meditation

Meditation is a wonderful stress buster. You are likely to need something like meditation because of the raging hormones inside you. Apart from other bodily changes, they also bring on mood swings and irritability. Therefore, try meditation during the very early days, when you first notice the early signs of pregnancy. If you are able to do it even for a limited time, go ahead and make it a routine throughout your pregnancy. It will most likely make those nine months extremely smooth for you. Get a good book on meditation for guidance or browse the net for more information.

Get Mild Exercise

Go for a walk every day. It would help you get some fresh air and cope with indigestion, heartburn, constipation, and hemorrhoids. Also, consult your obstetrician for a diet schedule. However, avoid walking too fast or taking heavy exercise. You can also give yoga a try during pregnancy. It can help you stay fit during your entire pregnancy as well as have an easy labor. Make sure you donâ??t do it yourself. Get a good instructor for you instead.

Pregnancy Calendar

Itâ??s a pretty good idea to get a pregnancy calendar. It will keep you updated about the status of babyâ??s growth and various pregnancy symptoms.

Donâ??t Hesitate To Visit A Psychologist

In case you are unable to cope with the pregnancy related issues, itâ??s best to visit a psychologist. Itâ??s no use to keep on struggling with what is proving to be too much for you to handle. Leave it to the experts. They will counsel and guide you to deal with it all.

Remember preparing yourself mentally for the pregnancy period should commence as early as possible. The moment you notice the first sign of pregnancy, you must put in all your efforts to have a hassle free pregnancy period.

PostHeaderIcon How to Lose Pregnancy Weight Fast & Keep it Off for Good

If you have recently had a baby, or ever had a baby for that matter, you know that pregnancy puts your body through many changes.  One of those changes is, unfortunately, weight gain.  While some women easily shed pounds by chasing around their toddlers and trying to care for a newborn, others find it hardly that simple and need a little more help.  It IS possible to lose pregnancy weight fast in a healthy way.  Guess what else, it’s even possible to keep it off for good!

Wether you are breastfeeding or formula feeding, it’s especially important that you maintain a healthy postpartum lifestyle.  Eating right and getting a sufficient amount of rest and excercise is essential in getting your body to bounce back into shape.  For this very reason, you need to be weary of  any kind of crash diets, or anything that is going to eliminate imporant food groups from your diet.  In fact, any diet that eliminates food groups from your diet is something you want to steer clear of.  If it is something you cannot follow for the rest of your life, it’s probably not a good idea.

To get into the habit of eating right, and eating enough if you are breastfeeding, you need to learn what foods to look for and how to prepare them in a healthy way.  Anyone can go buy fresh corn at the grocery store, but once you slather it in a heap of butter and salt, it isn’t quite as healthy as it was to begin with.  Learning how to prepare your food so that it is healthy AND delicious is extremely important.  Remember, food is fuel.  Now, that is not to say that you cannot enjoy a brownie every now and again!

Aside from eating right, getting exercise after you have had a baby is also  important in being able to lose pregnancy weight fast.  You don’t even have to go to the gym to get excercise.  In fact, I recommend putting the new baby in a stroller and going for a power walk around the neighborhood.  Afterwards, you can choose a couple extra exercises to do depending on what day it is.  For example, on Monday you could focus on abs, Wednesday would be legs, and Friday you would work out your upper body.  This way you aren’t cramming it all into one day and exhausting yourself but still getting in strength training as well as cardio.

Last but not least, surround yourself with other people trying to lose weight.  It would be really difficult to lose pregnancy weight fast if you are doing it alone right?  Having the right resources and support around you is going to make or break your weight loss success.  Wether you join a local weight loss group or follow an online pregnancy weight loss forum, make sure that you are around others to share your success and keep each other motivated!

Don’t be a fence sitter.  Get up, get moving, and make the changes you want to see!  With the right attitude and the right resources, you CAN and WILL lose pregnancy weight fast!  This IS your year!

PostHeaderIcon Tips to Keep Off the Pounds During Pregnancy

Have you ever wondered why it is so easy for celebrities to return to their pre-pregnancy weight? The reason is that they don’t gain more weight than is required to make a healthy baby. Weight that is not gained from the formation of the baby, placenta, womb, and extra blood supply is considered to be extra. Most women can have a healthy baby without gaining any extra weight, according to most doctors. The extra pounds can be kept off by following these tips.

Normal vs. Extra Weight Gain

It is critical to be aware of what constitutes the average weight gain that is simply a direct result of pregnancy vs. a surplus of weight gain. 25 to 35 pounds is the average weight gain for a healthy woman, while a woman who is somewhat heavier than normal will gain from 15 to 25 pounds, and a woman under the average weight is likely to put on 28-40 pounds. These pounds are generally gained a little at a time throughout the duration of the pregnancy. The first trimester involves the loss of 2 to 4 pounds, for instance, and a woman will gain 1 to 2 pounds a week after that until delivery.

Why are these pounds necessary? Your growing baby, uterus, tissues, and more that is needed to form a healthy baby, make up the weight. The following is a detailed list of pounds and their constituents:

* The weight of your uterus is approximately 2 to 5 pounds.
* The weight of the baby is approximately 7 to 8 pounds.
* The baby’s surrounding placenta constitutes about 2 to 3 pounds.
* 2 to 3 pounds of weight is gained from your expanding breast tissue.
* 5 to 9 pounds is made up of the fat stores for breast-feeding and delivery.
* There is 2 to 3 pounds of amniotic fluid.
* The additional blood supporting the baby weighs 4 pounds.

Generally, any weight gained beyond these amounts is not necessary for the growth and development of a healthy baby. Any “extra” weight gained is difficult to get off after the baby’s birth.

Eating for Two

The “Eating for Two” myth can quickly cause extra weight gain. A healthy woman only needs an extra 100 to 300 calories to form a healthy baby, as understood by celebrities. This is about the same as eating an apple and a bowl of cereal. You may be disappointed to hear that any extra calories you may be consuming will be stored as fat by your body. When you are fighting to get into your pre-pregnancy jeans, you will notice the unwanted fat that you may not have recognized during pregnancy.

It is important to not excessively indulge when you are pregnant to avoid gaining unwanted weight. Stick to smart food choices, such as fresh fruits and vegetables, lean meats, and whole grains. The nutrition is important for your growing baby as well as for preserving your fitness.

Move that Baby Bump

Most often, when a magazine prints a picture of a pregnant celebrity, the mommy-to-be is out for a walk. Ever wonder why that is? According to many doctors, exercise is okay for healthy pregnant women. The extra blood flow when taking a walk is great for evening out mood swings and burning any extra calories you consumed during your last craving. This is yet another celebrity weight secret!

Note: These tips are for healthy women who have discussed the benefits of not gaining extra weight during pregnancy with their doctors. During a pregnancy, women should not attempt to avoid gaining healthy weight. The unborn baby and the mother may experience unhealthy side effects due to this. As previously stated, consult your doctor before beginning any weight loss program or exercise routine, especially during pregnancy.

PostHeaderIcon Keep Your Celebrity Figure During Pregnancy!

Have you ever wondered how all those stars seem to get back to their pre-pregnancy weight so quickly after having a baby? This is because they only gain the weight required for their baby to grow.

The formation of baby, placenta, womb, and the extra blood supply all require a certain amount of weight gain. Any additional weight, however, is excess fat. In fact, most doctors agree that any extra weight gain is unnecessary for a healthy pregnancy. The following advice will keep you from gaining in excess.

Normal Weight Gain vs. Extra

You need to understand that any weight that will natural go away post delivery is normal gain. The extra is what you still see a couple months after giving birth. Only 25-35 pounds should be gained by an average woman during pregnancy. For one who is underweight, she may gain 28-40 pounds while one who is overweight needs only 15- 25 pounds. Throughout pregnancy, women usually gain weight fairly gradually. For instance, women often lose between 2 and 4 pounds in their first trimester, and then begin gaining 1 or 2 pounds every subsequent week until they give birth.

What are those pounds used for? This weight is comprised of your fetus and your uterus, along with other tissues that are necessary for your baby’s development. Here is a breakdown of just what makes up those pounds:

? The baby will grow to weigh roughly 7 or 8 pounds, and your uterus will grow to weigh between 2 and 5 pounds.

? Between 2 and 3 pounds of the weight you gain is due to your baby’s placenta.

? As your breasts grow larger, they should gain 2 or 3 pounds, and your body will store between 5 and 9 pounds of fat to prepare for giving birth and breast-feeding.

? You will gain 2 or 3 pounds due to the amniotic fluid.

? You will gain about 4 pounds in extra blood to support the baby.

Any weight over these allotments is extra that the baby doesn’t need to develop. This weight is very difficult to get rid of after your pregnancy.

Eating for Two

The idea that you need to “eat for two” is actually a myth, and following it can cause you to put on excess weight. Any celebrity that’s had a baby can tell you that normal, healthy women only need to increase their diet by 100 to 300 calories when they are pregnant. This amount of calories can be taken in by eating a bowl of cereal and an apple. You may not like hearing this news, but you need to know that eating anything more will cause the calories to be stored as fat. During your pregnancy, you might not notice that you are gaining extra fat, but once you’ve had your baby and you can’t fit into your pre-pregnancy jeans, you will definitely notice.

Therefore, be sure not to overindulge during pregnancy to keep the unwanted weight off. You need to make wise decisions about what to include in your diet, choosing foods such as fresh fruits and veggies, meats that are low in fat, and bread made from whole grains. Following this kind of diet doesn’t just keep you in shape; it also provides important nutrients for your baby’s development.

Move that Baby Bump

Ever notice that when you see pregnant stars in magazine photos, they are often going for a walk? Do you know why? There is a consensus among doctors that it is healthy for pregnant women to exercise. If you do give in to your cravings, you can burn off the excess calories by going for a good, long walk, which has the added benefit of increasing your blood flow and helping to keep your mood stable. That is yet another weight secret that celebrities use.

Please remember: The tips we’re giving are intended for use only by women in good health that have consulted with their physician about how much weight they should gain while pregnant. Women should not try to keep from gaining this healthy pregnancy weight. This can be detrimental to both the pregnant woman and her baby. Let me remind you of the importance of discussing this with your physician.
