<p>High levels of stress may pose special risks during pregnancy. Pregnancy presents a unique set of circumstances that can mean joy and bliss in some, but overwhelming anxiety and stress in others. <br />&#13;</p>
<p>The physical effects of pregnancy (such as hormone-related mood swings, nausea, fatigue, frequent urination, swelling and backache) can be stressful. In addition, many have emotional stress due to concerns about the baby&#8217;s health and parenting responsibilities. </p>

<p>Minimize your exposure to worrisome issues and you&#8217;ll minimize your stress. Sometimes, too much information about pregnancy complications and problems can cause unnecessary stress. Some may want to wait until a certain time during their pregnancy, while others want to call everyone immediately after finding out themselves. </p>
<p>Telling The Father </p>
<p>Have a romantic dinner for two with candle lights, it may be your last time for a while, between morning sickness and raising your little one. Serve up baby carrots, baby back ribs and anything else you can think as baby. At the end, pour apple juice instead of wine and hand him a present. Inside you can have a tiny baby bib that says, &#8220;I heart My Daddy&#8221;Â  or a pair of baby booties. </p>
<p>If you can&#8217;t tell the father right away because he&#8217;s away on business, or deployed try sending him a care package. Inside the box place a few baby items, everything in blue and pink and a baby naming book in the center. Place a note on top of the book with, &#8220;I need a name soon, I&#8217;ll be here by June.&#8221; Or whenever the baby is due. </p>
<p>You can also see how long it takes him to figure it out. Go to the dollar store and pick up a bunch of small baby items, a bib, rattle, bottle, booties, etc. For a week, leave an item laying around the house where he is bound to find them. At the end of the week if he hasn&#8217;t figured it out yet, prepare the big gift. Have a large teddy bear sitting at the dinner table in the seat beside him, make sure there is a bib wrapped around him and maybe a sign that says Hi Daddy.Â  </p>
<p>Telling Family and Friends </p>
<p>Show up to a family gathering wearing a shirt that announces your state. These days there are a ton of shirts out there with clever sayings, &#8220;Baby on Board,&#8221; &#8220;A Bun in the Oven,&#8221; or something related to the pregnancy. The moment you walk in or take off your jacket everyone will figure it out without you ever having to say a word. Now, get ready for the tears and excitement. You&#8217;ll be answering a ton of questions. </p>
<p>If you already have children you may want to call the grandparents up and tell them that the next Christmas they may want to add one more to the list. If this is the first grandchild, you may want to get a bracelet link for your mom that reads, &#8220;#1 Grandma&#8221; or grandparent t-shirts. This will not only be a great present for them but something they will cherish and love forever. </p>
<p>No matter when you spread the news it can be a lot of fun, just think creative and let the pieces fall. You may even want to try catching all of it on video, so think ahead and prepare for the BIG moment, and I&#8217;m not meaning the birth.</p>

<p>Its then you know that it is time to get fit after pregnancy. But all is not lost, cause there are many ways to get fit after pregnancy.</p>
<p>You might be asking yourself if it is healthy to get fit after pregnancy. What i mean is that, is it healthy to lose weight so soon after giving birth?</p>
<p>The answer is no. Yeah, maybe celebrities and very rich people might be able to achieve that aim, but then again they have top doctors, chefs and personal trainers who can give them advice and assist them all the way.</p>
<p>Doing endless crunches and running miles is not the best course of action to take soon after going through a gruelsome delivery, especially if iif it was a cesaerian.</p>
<p>Post delivery period is not the best time to drop calories. I know this goes against trying to get fit after pregnancy but during this time you need to maintain at least 1200-1800 calories a day especially while breast feeding. droping your calorie intake so drastically can compromise the qualilty of the breast milk you give your baby. Again you may think this will hinder your goal to get fit after pregnancy.</p>
<p>You will not want to restrict calories so as to limit your energy because you will need it to take care of the baby. In fact breast feeding is good. To get fit after pregnancy you need to burn calories and breast feeding activity does burn calories. This in turn we help you lose some of the weight that was gained as a result and get fit after pregnancy</p>
<p>Doing exercises to get fit after pregnancy is much better than dieting. It will help you lose some of that baby weight and it will help prevent that post delivery depression so common among new mothers.</p>
<p>An easy exercise to do to get fit after pregnancy is walking the baby in its pram every evening. The baby can join in the fun and get some fresh air as well as you.</p>
<p>Also you can do pelvic floor exercises to help tighten up those muscles in that region. What you do is tense the muscles for five seconds then release. Then repeat again. This will help you get fit after pregnancy and prevent the syptoms of incontinence. Always remember to breath in deeply and exhale deeply as well.</p>
<p>Always remember that before you start any exercise program that you should always consult you physician. So as to pay close attension to troubles like shortness of breath or intenal bleeding. These are just a few simple safe ways to get fit after pregnancy.</p>

If you have a healthy weight before pregnancy; you should gain 3-5 pounds during the first trimester and approximately 1 to 2 pounds per week in the second and third trimester. But if you are underweight before pregnancy it will depend on your physicianâ€™s advice at what rate you should be gaining weight. Overweight women before pregnancy should gain 1 to 2 pounds in the first trimester and approximately 1 pound per week on the last six months. Gaining a stable weight and monitoring your weight will help you control pregnancy weight effectively.</p>
